Day 1 (Recap)

I think I should write at the end of the day, so I am able to blog everything, rather than having several blogs about the same day :) (That's me thinking out loud)

Okay, so, Day 1 recap:
Breakfast:
Fiber Drink (✓)
--> Meal Replacement Shake (Should not have taken that...)
1/2 Spark (✓)
Lunch:
Salad with no dressing (✓)
2 Bananas(✓)
1/2 Spark (✓)
Dinner:
1/2 "Bornk" from Erbert & Gerbert's
(Never had it before, but it was tuna and onions with lettuce and tomatoes, so I thought it was my best choice! EWW! I did not like that 1/2 sub AT ALL!!) It didn't settle with me very well. As I looked back at my AdvoCare binder, I saw that I did not make a very good choice with the bread & mayo combo... I will get better!

Dinner Snack:
Apple
Herbal Cleanse with water before bed! (✓)


I think overall, I just need to pay more attention to the AdvoCare sheet... and that's what I did last night. I read the 24-day Challenge very thoroughly so hopefully Day 2 will be more successful!

  1. Sounds like you did a good job. How did you feel full wise after the fiber drink & an MRS?
    Sorry you didn't like the sub... or more so it didn't like you that much. If it's not on the list for cleanse phase it sometimes doesn't sit all that well (see my note about BWW during the cleanse phase post). Salads sometimes are a better choice especially during the 1st 10 days. Just watch what kind of dressing you use (aka. the dairy) Just an FYI on E&G subs once you get into day 11 & beyond. Carbs will rapidly fill you up FAR more than they had in the past this will be a new experience for you being a recovering food connoisseur. I work right near there & 1/2 is all I can do, or I'll feel like I wanna yak since more than 1 serving of carbs bloat me now.. my post (The sub that sunk me) . Retraining will come with time & it will be easier once you know what you should be eating for portions. 1/2 a Narmer is 1 of my post cleanse challenge choices. Ask for it W/O the Mayo as guacamole (avocado) already has some in it thus you won't miss a thing. But guac. isn't a fave of everyone's either. More protein could have been in there. (having the MRS at least gave you that for the day) but more would be better. aka. HB egg(s), tuna, or some other fish, chicken breast or even some nuts also are good (I prefer as natural as possible sea salt if you must) & ones that haven't had any extra oils or sugars added to them. I know you'll do great! Your going to be AMAZED after the 24 days about how quickly your choices will improve. Not to mention the self- babysitter & instant will power additives in the vitamins. Not sure how it works, but it does & it's safe which is the best part! How did you feel during the day too?
