DAY 5! - April 15th

Woo! One work week down! I can't believe how fast this is going! :)

So, this morning, I get a "nice" (<---sarcasm) wake up call from my alarm clock. I forgot I had left the 5:30 a.m. alarm on my clock radio...REALLY?!? So, I get up to use the restroom... and I didn't feel quite compelled to go back to sleep, but every other morning I would crawl back under the covers and hope the next alarm would not wake me until another 28 minutes later... I laid there in bed. I was telling myself, I should get up. The other part of myself was saying... "you always go back to sleep" as myself was contemplating going back to sleep for that now, extra 26 minutes... I gave up on the "back & forth" mental convo I was having and got up.... WHAT?! Me get up... on time!? Wow. This is insane! So... I got up, showered and got ready for the day? AdvoCare helping my body get on a schedule? I THINK SO!

(✓) water
Breakfast:
(✓)2 Bananas
(✓)Spark
Snack:
(✓) 2 Hard Boiled Eggs
Lunch:
(✓) 2 servings of ice berg lettuce & the combo of julienne*** carrots & red cabbage! (***Wanna know where I remember the word julienne?? You probably don't care, but I remember growing up and watching the movie "Aladdin" and in the beginning where the peasant person is telling the story of Aladdin, he has this contraption he is trying to sell, and his words are "even makes julienne fries"!! Hahaha!, ahhh..... I guess Disney movies are still a part of my life when I'm this old.... LOL!!!)

  1. OMG you're having the rhino complex already... I've been having the same issues most mornings not anymore (I had caught a nasty cold everyone at work had about a mo. ago) delaying the rhino effect. I'm like so compelled to the habit of going back to bed but now have been waking up before the alarm & up out of bed charging like it's a great day already. Get used to it, your sleeping in days are pretty well over. ;) How are you feeling with what you're eating, are you hungry still? Or are you feeling more full during the day? Keep up the good work. Are you up for doing Zumba Toning tonight at 6:30pm? I remembered the DVD's for tonight if you are. :)

  2. Melisa! I am so proud of you! I wanted to try to become healthier and blog about it but my friends thought I was crazy! If you dont mind, I may try to do it with you as you go along! I am trying so hard to eat healthier!! It is so hard though. Especially with busy schedules!! But I am going to try!!
