Here Cookie, Cookie!




Now you can see first hand what I have to put up with at work! As I had mentioned in "Day 1" blog... someone HAD to bring in a GINORMOUS plate of homemade, delectable, mouth watering, chocolaty chippy, chewy goodness... (need I go on!?)I mean, these suckers were the size of my fist...Oh my, I seriously wanted 1 (or 5!!) I would have been the first one to down a set of cookies by the time they were placed on the counter...I..MUST..RESIST!! And resist I have. 3 Days without Dt. Dew & now 3 days without the discs of sweetness.

There were so many times where I just wanted to "cheat" and sneak a cookie. I want this to be so worth it. If I do not have any will-power today, what will tomorrow bring?

So, as I pass this plate each time I head to the water cooler, I just say to myself: No, it's so not worth it! :)

Update on AdvoCare Day 3:
Breakfast:
(✓)Fiber Drink (way, way easier today!!)
(✓)Spark
(✓)Handful of Carrots (I didn't have any fruit this mornin' for bfast!)
Lunch: (A Quick Trip to Kwik Trip :P, because I forgot my tuna!)
(✓)Can of tuna
(✓)2 servings of ice berg lettuce
(✓)apple cider vinegar for taste
(✓)handful of carrots
(✓)raspberry flavored water (sugar free!)

One thing I have noticed about my 3rd day on the challenge is that I am able to appreciate the taste of natural foods. Before, I would have to have some sort of dressing or additives, such as cottage cheese, bacon bits, etc. to cover up the taste of lettuce, because I thought the taste of lettuce was just way too bland. I really can tell the difference in my body being receptive to veggies & fruits without any additives :) It is a good feeling!

Day 3 is feeling really good!!

  1. BTW I think your doing awesome! I almost always have a spare can of tuna laying around my office... weird huh? If it's too late in the day Rehydrate usually does it for me (but I usually exercise daily too) or most days. That & I water down my stuff quite a bit too. I'm not a big plain old water drinker myself most of the time. fresh Lemon & Lime (or real raspberries) work well too. I'm sure I'm just blabbing & will come to find out it was real fruit & feel like a total jerk. LOL
